Well it was time for a 45.000 hits babe, and here she is with Hazet tool set and all.

I´m back......

Sorry for not posting the last weeks, but I´ve been on holiday visiting the states, on a 2800mile long road trip with my girlfriend.
And don´t you worry there were lots of vw´s overthere too, I was at Lenny Coop´s open house, DKP cruise night at Nick´s Burger, OCTO bus meet, Toy & Litterature show and of course at The Classic.
There will be pictures later, but right I´m busy preparing the 54 for Hessisch Oldendorf next week.

Express progress

This past week end I finnaly got a print of the runs I had on the dyno back in march.
And if you study them carefully it appears that my motot has 45hp, that´s a 50% gain in horsepower, I´m even more satisfied with the motor now even though it´s just a number and it will run as it has done all the time.

The oval project is finished

Here is some fresh pictures of Jens´ 54 oval.
We finished the assembly this past week end, and he has already driven over 200km.
The only thing left is to get another set of wheels painted, and adding some white wall and it´s ready for Hessisch Oldendorf, remember this show is only a month away and it´s going to be a blast!

At the carwash

Jens took a couple of hard days/nights in the garage and finaly got his 54 ready!
On the picture you can see the happy owner giving the oval it´s first wash.
